Richard Mirgon
President
Richard Mirgon has over 40 years of public safety experience with the last 30 years in the public safety technology field and has been providing consulting service to state and local government and the private sector for the past 18 years. He is a Past President for the Association of Public Safety Officials International (APCO) and was APCO’s lead for the reallocation of the D Block spectrum to public safety that became FirstNet. He was a founding member of the Public Safety Alliance (PSA) and developed much of public safety outreach strategy. He retired in 2009 as the Director of Technology Services for Douglas County Nevada.
Richard has participated in several national and statewide activities to include the FCC’s Intergovernmental Advisory Committee and the Commercial Mobile Alerting Services Committee. In December of 1999 he was appointed by Governor Guinn to the State Emergency Response Commission and served as Co-Chair from March 2001 until March of 2006. Additionally, he served as Co-Chair of the WMD/Homeland Security Steering Committee from 1999 thru the fall of 2003.
Richard holds a B. A. Degree in Political Science.
Shari Mirgon
CEO
Shari has over 40 years of business experience. During her career she has worked as a corporate defense litigation paralegal for 12 of those years and worked as the office manager for a New Orleans law firm with 15 lawyers and their staff. Shari has spent the last 15 years working as a researcher, editor and administrator for a national training company.
Shari holds a B.S. in Business from Louisiana State University
